I cannot imagine corned beef without this sharp, sweet mustard sauce. It was always a real treat when mum made it.

Ingredients
1/4
cup
cooking water from corned beef/silverside
1/4
cup
white vinegar
1
tbsp
mustard powder
1
egg
1
tbsp
sugar
Instructions
Mix eggs, mustard and sugar together in a small pan.
Add the vinegar and beef cooking water.
Heat gently without boiling.
Notes
When done the sauce should coat the back of a spoon.
If it boils, the sauce will curdle.
